Kangana Ranaut’s film journey

Kangana Ranaut is celebrating her birthday today on March 20. Born in 1987, this talented young actress will turn 26 this year. After a series of flops like Tezz, Miley na Miley hum, Rascals, etc, this year looks very promising with she having 6 superb movies releasing this year. So how did a girl from small town in mountains of Himachal be one of the most promising young talents of our country? Lets look at Kangana’s journey.
Kangana Ranaut was born in a small town called Bambla, Himachal Pradesh. Since her childhood she was a person who had high aspirations. She moved to Delhi to fulfill her aspirations, and joined a modelling agency. Here  she became interested in acting and joined a theatre group. She underwent training under by eminent theatre director Arvind Gaur.
Later she moved to Mumbai to try her luck in movies. But she did not get any break until Anurag Basu saw her at a cafe and offered her to play a part in his movie “Gangster”. She lapped this opprtunity with both hands and did so well that she ended up winning Filmfare best debut actress that year.
Even though she made big impact on the silver screen, given her unconventional looks, she still had to struggle as a new comer. But her next big role was in the movie Fashion for which she won National award for Best Supporting Role. From then on she went on to act in acclaimed films like “Once upon time in Mumbai” and “Raaz-2″. but yet again she was mostly typecasted as a wild girl who has no care for the world. But yet again she made a blast with her comical yet amusing performance in “Tanu Weds Manu”. After that all the movies she did were not worthy of mentioning. She had only 1 film releasing last year.
But this year look very promising as she has a total of 6 movies releasing this year. And the best part is that all the movies are totally different from each other. One one hand she has commercial films like I Love NY and Krrish 3 and one other she has movies like Shootout at Wadala, Rajjo, Revolver Rani and her much awaited de-glam avatar in Queen.
We wish this talented actress a big ” HAPPY BIRTHDAY” and all the best for her future endeavors.
